A touring exhibition for hospitalised children

Created in 2011 by four doctors, A-GAPI (Association Grandir et Apprendre Par l’Image – an association for growing and learning through pictures) participates in actions that benefit people who are hospitalised or disabled. It has organised several African wildlife exhibitions for children and teenagers that have been hospitalised or in for clinical visits. For the second consecutive year, Terre Plurielle is helping to finance this touring exhibition where children are not just spectators but also actors who actively participate in the educational circuit presented.

Development of sports for disabled peole
Ludres disabled people’s sports club



Sponsors:

Club handisport de Ludres organises both competitive and leisure sports activities for disabled people. The club wishes to introduce the playing of “boccia” (a ball game similar to “pétanque”, in which the player launches the ball by hand, by foot or with the help of a ramp) and blowpipe darts (in which the player uses their breath to propel the darts). Terre Plurielle is financing the acquisition of the equipment needed for these two activities.

Professional integration of disabled young people
Handisup Haute-Normandie

By providing personal guidance and support, Handisup Haute-Normandie assists the region’s disabled young people in their academic studies, student lives and professional integration. The association is developing a programme for highly autistic young people or those with Asperger Syndrome in order to provide them with individual guidance and support, from their secondary school studies to professional integration. Terre plurielle participates in financing the project manager’s salary for Autism 2013 and 2014.

Research programme for curing a disease leading to blindness
France Choroïdérémie

France Choroïdérémie was founded in 2004 at the initiative of a small group of parents and patients. For the third consecutive year, Terre Plurielle is supporting the programme by financing the fourth and final phase of the gene therapy research programme for curing this retinal degenerative disease that leads to blindness.

Equitherapy sessions for children
APETREIMC



Sponsors: Bouygues Bâtiment International - Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France – Habitat Résidentiel

Developed by APETREIMC (Association Pour l’Education Thérapeutique et la Réadaptation des Enfants Infirmes Moteurs Cérébraux – Association for the therapeutic education and rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy), this project allows disabled children to experience horse-riding in a fun way, thus encouraging the development of motor and sensory skills and opening them up to the outside world. For the third consecutive year, the funding provided by Terre Plurielle will be used to organise equitherapy sessions for four children for a period of one year.
