The Teddy Bear’s Cabin
A play area for disabled children

The Medical and Educational Institute of Bauche du Rouet welcomes children and adolescents aged 6-20 years with intellectual disabilities. The institute requires some exterior works to help improve the children’s development. The project consists of installing a playground consisting of a cabin and a swing. Terre Plurielle is helping to finance the installation work.

Hand I garde 28
Activity centre for disabled children

Hand I garde 28 facilitates the care of children with disabilities, by creating a network of trained childcare assistants. The project is to create a weekly workshop of body and sensory awareness for children and their families, supervised by a specialist facilitator. Terre Plurielle is financing the necessary practical workshop equipment.

APAJH Bondy
Interactive whiteboards in a center for handicapped people

Founded in 1979, the association welcomes and supports young people with motor disabilities. The school welcomes 86 young people, from primary through to vocational level and provides personalized medical care adapted to each handicap. Terre Plurielle is financing the acquisition of a dozen interactive whiteboards.

The SAJ (Service Accueil de Jour or Daytime Reception Service) receives in Versailles some 20 mentally challenged people suffering from psychic disorders. As sanitary facilities are no longer up to standards to receive people with reduced mobility, Terre Plurielle is participating in the renovation work to ensure better hygiene for all those in the facilities: disabled people and staff.

Digital applications for autistic children
EPMI and EPEA

EPMI is an engineering school which trains people for electrical and industrial engineering professions and telecommunications. EPEA is an association for families with autistic children. These two bodies have set up close relations to put their skills to good use and develop digital tools to help children suffering from pervasive development disorders. Terre Plurielle is participating in the development of three dedicated softwares helping children communicate more easily, situate themselves in time and socialize. These digital applications will be tested in dedicated structures then deployed by free downloading.
