ENVOLUDIA has created and managed establishments to host and assist people with multiple disabilities or cerebral palsy.

« APF FRANCE HANDICAP » - APF SESSAD NORD 77 Site de Trilport (77)

Sponsors: Bouygues Energies & Services / Axione

Created in 1933, the APF France Handicap represents, protects, and supports people with disabilities on an individual and collective basis. It fights all forms of discrimination. It manages many structures including the Special Education and Home Care (SESSAD) establishment of Trilport, France (77).

This establishment, created in 2004, welcomes children and adolescents (from newborns to 20-year-olds) with motor disorders. It assists and advises families and promotes school integration as well as increased autonomy.

The North SESSAD 77 in Trilport offers various workshops, including for dance, to help promote socialisation, empowerment, and rehabilitation of the young people served there. This weekly activity is organised by professional teachers trained for this purpose.

Since 2010, the SESSAD has participated in the national Handidanse competition. This year, the competition will take place in Dunkerque over three days in June 2019.

Terre Plurielle helped fund transportation costs for 11 children and 5 chaperones for this event.

Increasing the accessibility of activities for deaf and hard-of-hearing people
Association Nationale pour la Promotion et le Développement de la Langue Parlée Complétée - ALPC

Sponsors: Bouygues Energies & Services

For the last 30 years, the "ALPC" has ensured access to the French language for deaf people.

The ALPC trains parents and professionals to use the LPC code, a method for creating a visual supplement to lip reading called ‘supplemented spoken French’.

It listens to, guides, and supports families with deaf children and also organises internships and promotes school integration.

The ALPC must make all of the activities it offers more accessible so that deaf and hard-of-hearing people can actively participate in the association.

To do so, it strengthens the team of so-called ‘coders’ (who use the code to ‘interpret’ for deaf people), coding services, and velotyping services.

Terre Plurielle is helping to fund coding and velotyping services.
