Help towards social and occupational insertion for young people from disadvantaged districts

Sponsors: Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France

As a non-profit organisation for social and occupational insertion, Proxité has set up a mentoring system. Mentors, who are executives from nearby enterprises, support young people in their approach to defining a job-seeking strategy and, via their own experience, try to provide them with better knowledge of the world of enterprise and its social codes.

Terre Plurielle funding will enable a mentoring manager to be hired at the Saint-Denis agency to welcome new young people.

D-Clic Métier
Vocational guidance for young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods

Sponsors:

The "D-Clic Métier" association supports young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in Strasbourg. In particular, it organises career forums aimed at improving vocational guidance in colleges and schools located in disadvantaged inner-city areas. It also involves suggesting career paths by presenting the students with the success stories of young people from such districts. Employees of Pertuy Construction, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, regularly take part in these career forums and talk about career paths within BTP.

As a continuation of the process, "D-Clic Vocation" aims to put together personalised career paths for young people, in three stages: an integration seminar, looking at the individual’s desired career and exploring other careers.

Terre Plurielle is financing the creation of a position for an assistant to organise career forums.
