"SOS Village d’Enfants Plaisir" is expanding
SOS villages d’enfants

Sponsors: Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France / Elan

Created in 1956, SOS Villages d’Enfants works to protect sibling groups at risk within their families. These actions consist in setting up support and protection programmes for children placed following court decisions. Sibling groups are looked after and supervised by SOS mothers within family homes. A shared house enables the psychological, academic and family monitoring of the children.

Created in 1987, SOS Villages d'Enfants de Plaisir is made up of thirteen family homes and takes care of around fifty children. The number of children is increasing and the Plaisir village needs to be expanded.

The association has acquired a new house that needs to be transformed in order to enable the children to continue their shared activities (schooling, artistic workshops, meetings with educators/psychologists, library, etc.).

The Terre Plurielle Foundation is contributing to the funding of the transformation of the shared house.
