Literacy programme for the Guinean population
ONG CADES - Centre d’Appui pour le Développement Economique et Social

Sponsors: Bouygues Travaux Publics

The CADES association is a Guinean NGO created in 2007, which contributes to the socio-economic development of the population and promotes the socio-economic integration of women and young people. Since 2011, CADES has been very actively involved in the implementation of a functional literacy programme for the benefit of the Guinean population.

The project consists in opening two literacy centres dedicated to the population living in the vicinity of the Tinguilinta mine. This programme is divided into two parts: the training of four literacy facilitators in functional adult literacy techniques and tools and the literacy training of sixty beneficiaries.

Terre Plurielle is contributing to the funding of this programme for 2020.
