Creating and equipping libraries for students in the South-east of Morocco
Enfants du Désert's Association

Sponsors: Bouygues Bâtiment International / Bymaro

Created in 2005, the Enfants du Désert (EDD) association aims to make education accessible to all children in the South-east of Morocco. Given the correlations between health and living conditions to access education, the association has widened its scope of work and chosen a holistic approach for the benefit of the children. The association operates in four areas: education, health, sustainable development and sponsorship.

Out of the 4 focus areas, education encompasses various actions such as building classrooms, providing school supplies, implementing a school tutoring programme and creating libraries in the schools and middle schools.

The project consists of creating and equipping 4 new libraries for the students in 4 schools of the Errachidia province.

Terre Plurielle is contributing to the purchase of 4,000 books and the construction and equipment of the 4 libraries (furniture, paint, carpets, etc.).

Moreover, the sponsors are organising a book drive at BYMARO and will ensure their distribution.
