Founded in 2018, the HACTIF association aims to help people with disabilities with professional reintegration and to change the way in which disabilities are perceived. The association also offers trainings, awareness-raising workshops, support for projects, forums and roundtable discussions.

Within the framework of its objectives, the association is creating the first co-working space in France for people with reduced mobility.

This specially designed space offers versatile workstations which adapt to all types of disabilities.

In order to equip the workstations with tools for accessibility, Terre Plurielle is contributing to the acquisition of an interactive digital board, two text-to-speech-enabled computers with Braille display and cells, and three ViewPoint headsets.

2021 holidays for 30 people with mental disabilities
"ASLive's Association"

Sponsors: Bouygues Energies & Services / Axione - Bouygues Travaux Publics

ASLIVE is an association based in the Yvelines department created in 1989 with the aim to improve the lives of adults with mental disabilities. It organises customised holidays throughout the year and offers games, field trips, educational tours and first flight experiences in order to have a positive impact on the cognitive, physical and social development of the beneficiaries.

This year, the association is organising a 15-day summer trip for 30 adults with mental disabilities and their caretakers.

During this trip, the beneficiaries will enjoy various tours of local farms, museums, a circus, historical sites and other outdoor activities organised by the association.

For the second year in a row, Terre Plurielle will contribute to funding the transport costs (rental, petrol and tolls) and the fees for the visits and activities mentioned above.

la maison de l’Artolie
“l’Artolie's house"

Sponsors: Bouygues Bâtiment Centre Sud-Ouest

Habitat des Possibles was created in 2016 by 8 citizens faced with ageing relatives and a lack of living choices between their individual homes and the available and appropriate institutions in rural areas. This observation led Habitats des Possibles in Nouvelle Aquitaine to develop a shared housing project with support for retirees. The goal was to enable people to live at home for as long as possible, in proper, humane, affordable and ergonomic conditions through proper, more affordable housing.

In 2017, the town of Lestiac-sur-Garonne put a parcel of land and a building named “la maison de l’Artolie” at the disposal of the association. With its building permit in hand, the association will start renovation works in November 2020 and finish by February 2022.

Terre Plurielle contributes to funding the works and indoor layouts of this house, which will host 8 beneficiaries.

This project also benefits from the technical and intellectual skills of its sponsors - the employees from Bouygues Bâtiment Centre Sud-Ouest involved.

A new ambulance for volunteer emergency responders
Croix Rouge française's association

Sponsors: Bouygues Bâtiment International

Created in 1945, the French Red Cross aims to relieve human suffering impartially and without any discrimination.

The association operates in 5 sectors: emergency response, social action, health, training and international solidarity.

For its emergency response activity, the St Quentin en Yvelines local unit uses a medical transport vehicle enabling volunteers to carry out emergency response actions. The current vehicle is considerably outdated and no longer meets the new safety standards applicable as of January 2021. Terre Plurielle is helping to purchase a new ambulance, equipped according to the new safety standards.

Funding of a transparent wheelchair for X-rays at the women, mothers and children’s department of the Lyon teaching hospital!
Foundation "Hospices Civils de Lyon"

Sponsors: Bouygues Energies & Services

The Hospices Civils foundation in Lyon was created to accelerate the development of innovative projects which promote personalised care for each patient.

Of the 14 hospital facilities at the Lyon teaching hospital, the women, mothers and children’s department is the reference centre for the care of children with disabilities. In 2009, this hospital structure was equipped with a revolutionary X-ray room where 3D exams could be performed with 10 to 20 times less exposure to radiation.

However, the room’s entrance was too narrow for a traditional wheelchair, preventing some children with disabilities from using this system. To remedy this, Terre Plurielle is participating in the acquisition of a transparent wheelchair for X-rays, which will enable all to benefit from the new technology.
