The association 20Ans 1Projet supports young adults aged between 18 and 25 whose schooling and careers have been disrupted by serious illness.

These young people are referred by the association’s partner hospitals, which offer educational, professional or refresher training schemes.

This support initiative includes individual coaching, job shadowing and academic refresher courses to help these young people plan for the future in spite of the illness and treatments that have disrupted their plans, whether they are academic or professional.

Terre Plurielle contributes to the cost of individual coaching for 15 young beneficiaries.

Home-support assistant for seniors with multiple conditions
"Les Transmetteurs" Association

The association Les Transmetteurs was founded to create a healthcare reserve by referencing retired doctors. They serve as educators to train young people who intend to enter support professions.

To maintain, create or rekindle relationships and act against all forms of exclusion, the association Les Transmetteurs has two purposes: STRENGTHEN and TRANSMIT

The project consists in developing a teaching apartment used for the practical training course “Home-support assistant for seniors with multiple conditions”. This continuing education course is held at the IUT Paris Pajol, which is providing a room with the offer of transforming it into a teaching apartment.

Terre Plurielle helps to fund this room’s equipment and purchase the material and furniture needed for trainees’ practical lessons.

Humanitarian mission in Cameroon
"Téo Aquitaine" Association

Founded in 2013, Téo Aquitaine is an international charity that promotes improved care in the field of paediatric neurology and neurosurgery.

In particular, it relies on a multidisciplinary medical and paramedical team from the Bordeaux University Hospital Centre (neurosurgeons, neuropaediatricians, intensive care anaesthetists, operating theatre nurses, nurse anaesthetists, paediatric nurses and other paramedics, etc.) as well as actors from civil society.

In conjunction with local authorities, the association is currently active in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala in Cameroon.

The 10th humanitarian mission is scheduled to take place in Cameroon in October/November 2020. For one week, six practitioners from the Bordeaux University Hospital will give training courses to healthcare personnel and students from the Douala University Medical School.

Terre Plurielle helps to purchase equipment for practical training such as paediatric simulators, therapeutic education kits and neurodevelopmental disorder diagnosis kits.

: Animal-assisted therapy to help seniors
'Les Blouses Roses' Association

The purpose of the association 'Les Blouses Roses' is to entertain patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, through playful, creative or artistic activities. It mainly works with children in hospital and elderly people in nursing homes. The project consists in setting up an animal-assisted therapy project within three nursing homes in the Montpellier region.

Contact with animals can awaken seniors’ reactions to help maintain or improve their cognitive, physical or emotional potential.

Sessions are offered to groups of 10 to 15 residents every other week for one year.

Terre Plurielle helps fund 26 animal-assisted therapy sessions for the residents of three nursing.

A unique art workshop!
Esprit de Partage' Association

"Esprit de Partage" is an association whose aim is to organise workshops to renovate wooden furniture for people with mental and psychological disabilities or autism.

The workshop takes place twice a month for three hours and is supervised by an enthusiastic educator.

It helps to develop autistic people’s ability to gesture and listen, foster their personal development, help them to better integrate into society, and offer them a moment of creativity that nurtures their work.

Terre Plurielle provides funds for materials and supplies that the workshop needs: sandpaper, ceramic mesh, cotton wicks, brushes, paint, paintbrushes, paint remover, surface coating, etc.
