In particular, it relies on a multidisciplinary medical and paramedical team from the Bordeaux University Hospital Centre (neurosurgeons, neuropaediatricians, intensive care anaesthetists, operating theatre nurses, nurse anaesthetists, paediatric nurses and other paramedics, etc.) as well as actors from civil society.
In conjunction with local authorities, the association is currently active in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala in Cameroon.
The 10th humanitarian mission is scheduled to take place in Cameroon in October/November 2020. For one week, six practitioners from the Bordeaux University Hospital will give training courses to healthcare personnel and students from the Douala University Medical School.
Terre Plurielle helps to purchase equipment for practical training such as paediatric simulators, therapeutic education kits and neurodevelopmental disorder diagnosis kits.
