The Centre de Formation et Appui au Développement (CEFAD) – a Guinea-based NGO – was founded in 2005. The mission of the centre is to develop projects that improve the lives of local people. The centre implements programmes in the areas of health, employment and training.

The CEFAD is launching a new health protection programme for children, which consists of training and supporting mothers to facilitate their medical care. At the same time, the centre is creating an income-generating activity to provide mothers with a sustainable way of paying for future actions linked to the medical care of their children.

Terre Plurielle is contributing to the training of mothers, the purchase of a mobile ambulance and the acquisition of supplies for market gardening.
